How’s everybody holding up? Tis’ the season for the annual “Holiday Marathon”!
Those of you who took part in Glendale Pawn and Jewelry’s Lay-A-Way program are probably feelin’ pretty good right now. Those of you who made it a point to do your holiday shopping just a wee bit early at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry are also probably celebrating your wisdom and counting the money you saved. Of course if you’re like gpawn and waiting for the last possible moment to get your holiday shopping done, you’re probably feeling like you’re part of an elite bunch of rebels who just don’t play by the rules…Hooo Raa! Bring it on! (Cause I’ll be strollin’ around here at the pawn shop, casually getting the things on my list…then I’m off to the recliner…ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz, etc.)

So if you’re planning a last minute assault at the local shopping malls…well you be careful. There’s going to be pushing, shoving, pepper spray and who knows what else. It’s not going to be fun and the chances of physical injury are real, the chances of you losing your car in the parking lot are very real and, the chance of really having an unpleasant day or two is absolutely guaranteed.
So what choice do you have?

Finally, for many of us cash is really tight this year. We’re not trying to be negative…just stating a fact. We don’t know anyone who ISN’T pinching pennies and stretching a dollar just as far as it can go. So if you’re sitting there thinking, “How am I going to pay for all the Holiday stuff this year?” Well, look around and see if you have some old gold or silver lying around. Maybe you have some electronics or firearms that you just don’t use anymore? Well, that can all be turned into cash…right here at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry.
Think about it…you could actually show up at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry with some items that you don’t need anymore and walk out with something for everyone on your list? We think that’s pretty cool.

I am also privileged to have a roof over my head, food in the fridge, three healthy, beautiful and frighteningly intelligent granddaughters as well as a wonderful, strong and healthy family.
