It’s hot out…really hot…a burning, sweaty, oxygen-sucking Phoenix type of hot. Now having said this, we’d like to point out that the new A/C system at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry totally ROCKS! It’s NICE and COOL inside!
Having pointed this out, your humble blog-scribe gpawn would like to mention that the heat is getting on his nerves a bit and has resulted in a rare bit of “Writer’s Block”…so, I’d like to let some recent photos tell you a bit of a story about the folks here at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry.
The story begins with someone stating aloud, “You know, if we’re going to do a major marketing push this summer, why don’t we update all of the staff photos, in case we need some smiling faces for advertising, online, etc.”
The owner of Glendale Pawn and Jewelry responded with…
…I think that’s a GREAT idea! What could possibly go wrong?
Our onsite jeweler Juan was happy to offer up a classic pose, utilizing the tools he uses everyday to help explain a bit about how he can craft virtually any piece of jewelry that you can imagine. Thanks Juan! (He’s always the consummate professional!)

Juan can do anything from ring sizing, necklace repair or complete start to finish fabrication of your dream piece of jewelry. Juan is not only a master jeweler, he’s a really great guy and you should stop by, soak up some of our A/C and have a chat with him.
Things are going really well to this point…right?

Nicky from the counter is one of our musical instrument specialists and really a specialist in almost everything else?
“You pulled me off the counter for WHAT reason exactly?
Rick, one of our weapons specialists and Lacey, who makes sure that our facility is clean and well maintained, decides to settle a long running dispute about who exactly IS the “Big Guy” around Glendale pawn and Jewelry.
Rick: ” I am clearly the biggest and the toughest!”
Lacey: “Not if I decide to shut off the A/C you’re not!”
Gpawn cannot quite believe what is unfolding in front of his lenses.
Gordon is in charge of our Gunbroker, E-Bay and Amazon operations. He and gpawn share an office here at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry. Gpawn knows him rather well…
Gpawn: “There is always reason for concern around here when Gordon is smiling…be afraid…be VERY afraid…”
Stan: “Well, maybe we should think of another angle for this new marketing push…”
So loyal readers, gpawn managed to crank out another blog entry without exerting himself too much. In all seriousness, the photo shoot came out great and resulted in this nifty little image:
The moral of all this? Well, we take what we do here at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry VERY seriously. Helping our customers is WHY we are here and we will bend over backwards to make sure that everyone that comes through our doors is happy when they leave. The point of this posting is that while we take serving YOU very seriously, we know better than to take ourselves too seriously.
