Yes loyal readers, it is time to put down the vicious rumor that potential presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be stopping by Glendale Pawn and Jewelry during her highly touted, “One Nation Bus Tour”.
In case you’re wondering why there has been a distinct lack of news coverage regarding the rumored Glendale Pawn and Jewelry visit, according to the website Politico, “For supporters and reporters looking for more details, Palin isn’t providing them. Palin’s staff has been unresponsive to reporters’ requests or told them to check the SarahPAC website, which updates with information only after she’s stopped somewhere.”
A quick check of the SarahPAC website reveals that there is nothing on the site that “refudiates” the rumored pawn shop visit, so the e-commerce staff of Glendale Pawn and Jewelry put together this hastily written blog-post to once and for all put an end to the so-called story.

When asked to comment on how the Sarah Palin situation could have gotten out of hand so quickly, Glendale Pawn and Jewelry owner Stan Grossman responded with the following: “What? This is the first I’ve heard of it.“
So we can categorically state that we’re pretty sure that there won’t be any political visits here at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry during this election cycle…and that’s just fine with us. We’d much rather have real people come visit us in person or stop by our online shop. Now we’re not saying that presidential candidates aren’t real people, in fact we strongly suspect Sarah would get a chuckle out of our posting today. We would just rather spend time with real people like you, your family, your friends and neighbors. Real people that need a loan, have something to sell or want to save 30% – 60% on some really great merchandise. Quite honestly, we don’t need the bright lights and media circus that seems to surround the political candidates. We’re just here to help people in any way we can. The smiles from those we serve mean much more to us than a national tour bus parked outside (We wouldn’t allow that anyway…it would make it too hard for our customers to come see us.)
Here's a great deal on a spotting scope that would have been perfect for a presidential candidate visit...but it would probably be more fun to observe some of Arizona's wildlife instead.
Okay…so we took advantage of the crazy media atmosphere that has surrounded people that say they’re running for president, say they’re not running for president or say they maybe running for president. Yes, we kind of made it all up. (Surprise!) It’s our blog and we promised early on to do our best to never bore you with our postings. So far, from the feedback we’ve received we hear that we’re keeping that promise…and that’s kind of rare thing, at least in the political/media arena these days.
