Okay, we’re starting a new tradition here at the Glendale Pawn and Jewelry Blog. FOTO FRIDAY! (Notice the catchy spelling of PHOTO = FOTO)…yeah, we’re rockin’ today. From now on (or whenever we remember it) we’ll be posting photos, commenting on photos and making suggestions for photos on Fridays.

We have some fairly accomplished photographers here at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry and camera sales, video equipment and home entertainment items are an important part of our business. Since the advent of the Internet, almost all of us have been deluged with cute photos of cats doing funny things, grand-kids with food all over their faces and spouses in embarrassing choices of swimwear. A recent trend in Internet photography has been for amateur photographers to attempt to duplicate some of the more historically important and laughable Internet photos and then claim them as originals. Now having said this, we’d like for you to know that the staff of Glendale Pawn and Jewelry…is here to help.

Just follow these steps and you too can become famous in the genre’ of funny Internet photography:

Step #1…Choose a funny, yet not too well known photo to duplicate. The crew here at www.arizonapawnshops.com and the Glendale Pawn and Jewelry blog would like to suggest the following-

Dancing goat and accordion playing woman.

Yes, it's a woman playing an accordion while her pet goat dances to the tune...how's that?

In the immortal words of Daniel Lawrence Whitney (Larry the Cable Guy), “I don’t care who you are…that’s FUNNY!”

Step#2…You’ll need a camera. Don’t worry, at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry we’ve got you covered. Here’s an excellent choice!

Excellent camera for anything...even "Goat Photography"

From our humble online scribe “gpawn”: “It’s a  Nikon Coolpix 12.1 megapixel digital camera. 15X Zoom. Nikon is legendary for quality, durability and unsurpassed images. While my camera collection does not contain this exact model, I have a T5400 which is very similar. If you’ve ever contemplated doing any SERIOUS goat photography, don’t miss this one…for real. (Just kidding about the goat photography…no pun intended…this is an OUTSTANDING all-around Nikon camera at a price you won’t believe)”

Step#3…You’ll need an accordion (You think we can help you with that?) Of course we can!

Is this one of the most beautiful accordions that you've ever seen? Click the image and you'll be pleased at the price too!

How can you not love accordions? If you’re of a particular generation, you heard accordions every Saturday night on the Lawrence Welk Show. If you’re a bit younger, maybe you’ve enjoyed classic polka music and thought you were an excellent dancer after a few “adult beverages”? Accordion music is once again making headway back into the “American Songbook” with new bands that are just discovering the versatility and unmistakeable charm of the accordion. This Rossetti is a hand crafted delight.

Step #4…You’ll need a goat (At Glendale Pawn and Jewelry, we loan money on almost anything of value…as long as it doesn’t eat…so believe it or not, we can’t help you with the goat.) BUT!…we have a referral on how to go “Goat Shopping”. Goats are wonderful animals and they can make great pets also. Domestic goats are friendly, loyal, protective and a great deal of fun! So, after your “Photo Shoot”, you’ll have a fantastic pet to provide companionship for years to come.

Okay, after an extensive search (On your behalf) we recommend the following for all your goat acquisition need:

Yes, it's the "Whole Goat Catalog"...ONLINE!"

This seems to be the definitive source for goats and goat accessories in Arizona and they seem to be a great collection of some really good people. Check it out!

Well, that concludes the inaugural edition of “Foto Friday”, brought to you by your friends at the Glendale Pawn and Jewelry Blog. Have a great Memorial Day weekend, be safe out there and if you’re going to enjoy an “Adult beverage” or two… PLEASE don’t drive. We’ll see you back here on Monday and as always…

…thanks for stopping by,

gpawn
