In case you’ve been on a desert island for the last few months, you may not have heard that the Internet has been all abuzz about the world ending on May 21st, 2011. It seems that some folks have figured this out and have been spreading the forecast of our demise as a species and they’re pretty convinced of it. All of this media coverage has focused on the official opinions of some people with some pretty impressive credentials. Here at Glendale Pawn and Jewelry, we don’t have many credentials for forecasting the end of the planet. Our credentials have been earned by serving our customers, helping people and offering some pretty impressive discounts on top quality merchandise.
Now we’re not really gamblers, but we’d place a bet that the sun is going to come up on May 22nd, 2011 and here in Glendale, Arizona we noticed that the National Weather Service is still offering a weather forecast for the 22nd and here it is:
