Mother’s Day is almost upon us. Okay loyal readers…don’t mess this up…please! This is arguably one of the most important events of the year. Yes, we’re talking about YOUR MOTHER…so please pay attention.
If you are fortunate enough to have your mother nearby, take some time to make her feel special. If she is some distance from you, give her a call. If your mother is no longer with us, honor somebody else’s mother or a woman who had a strong influence in your life. (Don’t tell ol’ gpawn that you didn’t have a woman who was a strong influence in your life…that’s one of the few “virtually impossible” things in this world.) Here at Glendale Pawn & Jewelry we believe that this holiday, while certainly about honoring the mothers of the world, is also a holiday to honor the women of the world. Let’s face it, procreation aspects aside, very few members of the human species would be viable human beings without the influence of women in our lives…and that is just a fact.
So, we’re honoring mothers (and women) by having a Mother’s Day sale on gemstone jewelry. Most mothers enjoy jewelry and it’s really a wonderful way of saying…”Thank you Mom…I know I wasn’t a perfect child and I’m really sorry about your garden…it seemed like a perfect place at the time to build a play fort…and although I’m WELL into the double-digit age range now, I really appreciate you for everything that you did…”
